Farmmi announces public offering of Class A ordinary shares
Farmmi, Inc. (NASDAQ: FAMI), a China-based agricultural products supplier and U.S. logistics and supply chain services provider, announced plans to offer Class A ordinary shares in a public offering, according to a press release.
The company said it intends to use net proceeds from the offering for general corporate and working capital needs. No specific share count or price range was disclosed. The offering is subject to market conditions, and the company noted there is no assurance as to whether, or when, the offering may be completed, or as to its final size or terms.
Aegis Capital Corp. is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering on a firm commitment basis.
The offering is being made under an effective shelf registration statement on Form F-3 (No. 333-280348), previously filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and declared effective on June 27, 2024. A final prospectus supplement and accompanying prospectus will be filed with the SEC upon completion.
Farmmi was established in 1998 in Zhejiang, China, and operates as a supplier, processor, and retailer of Shiitake mushrooms, Mu Er mushrooms, and other edible fungi and agricultural products.
