Rocket Lab completes 10th Synspective launch, reaches 91 missions

Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ: RKLB) launched its 10th consecutive satellite for Japan-based Earth observation company Synspective on June 27, 2026, completing what the company described as its 12th launch of the year and bringing its total mission count to 91.

The mission, named "Ten Owl Of Ten," lifted off from Launch Complex 1 in New Zealand at 5:43 a.m. NZST aboard an Electron rocket, placing a StriX satellite into a 552km low Earth orbit. All 10 StriX satellites in Synspective's constellation have been deployed by Electron, with the company reporting 100% mission success across all deployments.

A specially configured Electron fairing was produced for the mission to accommodate the StriX satellite's dimensions, according to a statement from Rocket Lab.

Synspective's StriX constellation uses synthetic aperture radar technology to capture Earth imagery. Rocket Lab said 17 additional missions are booked to complete the constellation deployment by the end of the decade, with the next launch expected in early Q3 2026.
