High Roller Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ROLR) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ROLR US LLC, has been approved as a member of the National Futures Association and registered as a guaranteed introducing broker, according to a company press release.
The registration was secured under a guarantee agreement with OG Markets US, Inc., formerly known as Foris DAX Markets, Inc., doing business as Crypto.com FCM, a registered futures commission merchant. Crypto.com FCM will carry customer accounts introduced through the ROLR platform and provide transaction-processing, custody and regulatory infrastructure. ROLR US LLC will not hold customer funds.
Under the arrangement, Crypto.com | Derivatives North America will serve as the exclusive provider of prediction contracts through High Roller's U.S. platform for the initial 24 months of the collaboration. Eligible customers are expected to gain access to event contracts across categories including sports, finance and entertainment. High Roller expects to participate economically through a revenue-sharing arrangement tied to customer activity.
"This approval completes one of the key regulatory steps in the development of our U.S. prediction markets business and moves us significantly closer to launching the ROLR platform," said Seth Young, Chief Executive Officer of High Roller Technologies.
The company said the registration represents a milestone toward the planned U.S. commercial launch of the ROLR prediction markets platform, which remains subject to completion of technology integration, testing, compliance implementation and other operational requirements.
