Aytu BioPharma ends license deal with Lannett for Metadate CD

Aytu BioPharma, Inc. (NASDAQ: AYTU) and Lannett Company, Inc. mutually agreed to terminate an exclusive license agreement for Metadate CD®, effective June 23, 2026.

The agreement, originally entered into on May 11, 2022, and amended twice in 2023 and 2025, has been terminated in its entirety, with certain provisions surviving as specified in the termination terms.

Under the terms of the termination, Aytu BioPharma retains the right to sell and distribute existing Metadate CD® inventory at its discretion and is required to continue providing royalty reports and paying royalties to Lannett until those sales cease.

Net revenue from Metadate CD® reported by the company for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 was $49,000.
