Daré Bioscience, Inc. (NASDAQ: DARE) announced plans to commercially launch Flora Sync LF5™, a vaginal probiotic capsule, in June 2026, marking the company's first consumer health product.
Sabrina Martucci Johnson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Daré Bioscience, discussed the upcoming launch in a Virtual Investor "What This Means" segment. Johnson described Flora Sync LF5™ as an opportunity for the company to generate direct product revenue and noted its role within Daré's broader strategy of building a diversified women's health company.
The product is formulated to restore microbiome balance and support vaginal comfort, according to the company. Flora Sync LF5™ is part of Daré's DARE to RESTORE™ brand.
The San Diego-based company focuses on women's health and maintains a pipeline of clinical-stage programs spanning contraception, menopause, sexual health, fertility, vaginal health, and infectious disease.
The press release noted several risk factors, including consumer market acceptance, supply chain disruptions, manufacturing delays, and the company's lack of prior experience commercializing products.
