Seek, an Eldridge Industries business behind the Insight Cloud platform, announced a collaboration with NielsenIQ (NYSE: NIQ) to make NIQ's Expanded Omnishopper consumer panel data available through Insight Cloud.
The partnership launches four analytics applications on the platform targeting consumer packaged goods manufacturers, retailers, and brokers. The apps are designed to provide purchase-based shopper insights without requiring traditional analytics infrastructure investments.
The four applications now available are Market Basket Analysis, which identifies products purchased together; Point of Entry Analysis, which tracks the first product that brings a customer to a brand; Trip Missions, which segments consumers by trip size; and Trip Cycles, which analyzes sales trends by day of week and time of day.
CPG brands that license NIQ's point-of-sale Retail Measurement Services data can share those feeds with Insight Cloud for use in select applications.
"NIQ has long delivered high-quality, trusted consumer insights at scale. Through our collaboration with Seek, we're building on that foundation to make those insights even more accessible and faster to activate," said Jim Presley, SVP and General Manager, US Consumer at NIQ.
Erik Mitchell, CEO at Seek, said the collaboration gives CPG brands faster access to shopper insights, allowing teams to "move from question to answer in minutes, not months."
NielsenIQ reports operations in more than 90 countries, covering approximately 82% of the world's population and more than $7.4 trillion in global consumer spend, according to the company.
