Conexeu Sciences Inc. (NASDAQ: CNXU), a preclinical-stage biotechnology company focused on tissue regeneration, has opened a research and development facility at adMare BioInnovations' M4 Innovation Centre in Vancouver, Canada. The company held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 23 to mark the opening.
Conexeu is among the first companies to operate within the 30,000-square-foot facility, which provides laboratory infrastructure, shared scientific resources, and space for life sciences organizations at early and scaling stages.
The laboratory will support advancement of the company's CXU™ regenerative tissue platform, which includes Ten-Minute Tissue™, a thermosensitive extracellular matrix designed to transition from a fluid state at room temperature to a stable gel at body temperature within approximately ten minutes. The facility will also house work on B.R.E.A.S.T.™, a 3D-bioprinted breast matrix designed to support tissue regeneration following mastectomy.
"This facility represents an important achievement for Conexeu and our mission to advance breakthrough regenerative tissue technologies," said Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Claudia Chavez-Munoz.
The company says its CXU™ platform is protected by issued patents in the U.S., European Union, Japan, and Australia, with a patent pending in Canada. Conexeu has stated it anticipates filing a 510(k) submission with U.S. regulators in early 2027 for its initial wound care indication, subject to regulatory review.
