JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) announced that Doug Petno and Troy Rohrbaugh have been named Co-Presidents of the company, effective immediately, as part of the firm's board succession planning process.
Petno, previously co-CEO of the Commercial & Investment Bank, will become sole CEO of that division. Rohrbaugh, who also served as co-CEO of the Commercial & Investment Bank, will take over as CEO of Consumer and Community Banking.
Marianne Lake, who currently serves as CEO of Consumer and Community Banking, will retire from the company after more than 25 years of service. Lake will work with Rohrbaugh and other senior executives during the transition period.
Other leadership roles remain unchanged. Mary Erdoes will continue as CEO of Asset & Wealth Management, and Jennifer Piepszak will remain Chief Operating Officer. Both new co-presidents, along with Erdoes and Piepszak, will continue to report to Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon.
"The changes announced today mark an important step in our Board's thoughtful process around succession planning and development of our top leaders," Dimon said in a statement.
JPMorgan Chase reported $4.9 trillion in assets and $364 billion in stockholders' equity as of March 31, 2026.
