Docusign (NASDAQ: DOCU) announced that its Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform is now available for Perplexity Computer and Computer for Counsel, allowing legal teams to automate contract workflows using AI.
The integration, powered by the Docusign Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, enables users to set objectives in plain language within Perplexity and automate contract tasks including drafting, reviewing, signing, and managing agreements. The tool is designed to support collaboration between legal teams and other departments such as sales, procurement, and HR.
Specific use cases outlined in the announcement include vendor and compliance reviews, deal negotiations, and HR employment agreement management. Legal teams can identify contract clauses that conflict with company guidelines, locate historical contract language during negotiations, route approvals, and track employee documents without switching between tools.
"Contracts are at the heart of how every company operates, and legal teams sit right in the middle of this work," said Allan Thygesen, CEO of Docusign. "Too often, critical contract information gets stuck in disconnected systems, forcing legal teams to juggle multiple tools."
Nathan Barksdale, General Counsel at Perplexity, said the integration allows legal teams to "automate agreement workflows from end-to-end and spend more time on strategic legal work."
The Docusign for Perplexity integration is available in English globally as of June 24, 2026.
