Quantum Cyber says its platform aligns with Trump quantum executive order

June 24, 2026 8:10 AM EDT

Quantum Cyber N.V. (Nasdaq: QUCY) said its technology platform, patent portfolio, and manufacturing plans are aligned with a executive order on quantum information science and technology signed by President Donald J. Trump on June 22, 2026.

The West Palm Beach, Florida-based company said the announcement follows a leadership delegation to Washington, D.C., during which Chief Executive Officer David Lazar met with members of Congress and senior government officials to discuss homeland security and autonomous defense technology.

"These were substantive conversations, and I believe they reflect growing recognition at the federal level that domestically manufactured, AI-powered autonomous platforms are central to the United States' near-term defense and security posture," Lazar said in a statement.

The executive order directs the U.S. Department of Defense to field next-generation quantum sensor projects by September 30, 2028, establish programs advancing national security quantum computing readiness, and strengthen domestic quantum supply chains through private sector partnerships.

Quantum Cyber said its exclusively licensed quantum photonic array antenna technology, developed by Wolf Kohn, PhD, and secured through a license agreement with Project LightShift, Inc., is relevant to the order's mandate covering quantum sensor and networking capabilities for defense applications.

On June 8, 2026, Quantum Drones Corporation, a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Quantum Cyber, signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire a 43,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Bridgeport, Connecticut for $3,200,000. The facility is intended to support production of drone airframe components and EMP-hardened enclosures. The company noted that a letter of intent does not constitute a definitive agreement and that the transaction may not close.

The company said the planned Bridgeport facility responds to the executive order's directives on domestic quantum supply chains. Quantum Cyber's provisional patent portfolio covers autonomous naval mine countermeasures, swarm defense architectures, and EMP-shielded drone systems.
