StorMagic and Supermicro bundle edge virtualization products

StorMagic and Supermicro (NASDAQ: SMCI) announced a collaboration to offer bundled virtualization infrastructure solutions for edge, remote, office/branch office, and small datacenter environments, according to a press release issued June 24, 2026.
Under the arrangement, Supermicro's compact edge servers are available as a bundle with StorMagic SvHCI, a virtualization software product, as part of a validated infrastructure solution portfolio. The combined offering is targeted at organizations in retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and other industries operating across distributed locations.
The bundled solution is available through StorMagic and Supermicro's global channel partners and distributors.
Scott Mann, SVP of Global Sales at StorMagic, cited hardware cost considerations as a factor in demand for the offering. "Customers are increasingly focused on the hardware cost savings that come from deploying a resilient two-node architecture instead of a traditional three-node configuration — especially at a time when we're seeing hardware prices increase by as much as 300% in some scenarios," Mann said.
StorMagic, founded in 2006 and based in Bristol, England, develops virtualization software for edge and distributed IT environments. Supermicro is a publicly traded IT infrastructure provider headquartered in the United States.
