JFB Construction Holdings (Nasdaq: JFB) announced that XTEND, an AI-powered autonomous robotics company, has secured approximately $9.0 million in defense orders to expand autonomous multi-drone operations for a Middle East defense customer.
The program funds mission-enabling technologies and operational enhancements built around XTEND's XOS operating system, which handles mission management, autonomous task execution, and multi-system orchestration across robotic fleets.
XTEND also received two new patent grants. U.S. Patent No. 12,222,735 covers directing an unmanned vehicle to a user-marked destination independent of its surrounding environment, including in GPS-denied conditions. Israeli Patent No. 285095 covers the Israeli counterpart to that technology. Both build on U.S. Patent No. 12,461,522, secured earlier in June 2026, which covers precise UAV maneuvering under communication latency.
"This $9.0 million program is a direct validation of that architecture," said Aviv Shapira, Co-Founder and CEO of XTEND. "Our customers are not buying drones, they are deploying an autonomous operational network built on our software."
The announcement follows a series of contract wins since XTEND and JFB Construction Holdings announced a definitive merger agreement in February 2026. Those awards include an $8.25 million European autonomous drone program, a $3 million Asia-Pacific contract for more than 100 Scorpio drone systems, a $2.2 million Middle East aerial defense contract, a $1.67 million Israeli Ministry of Defense contract, and a seven-figure Asia-Pacific ISR order.
XTEND was also selected for Phase II of the U.S. Department of Defense's Drone Dominance Program, which targets procurement of more than 200,000 drones by 2027, and received U.S. Army Fuze Safety Board approval for its Electronic Safe and Arm Device for FPV drone programs.
Following the close of the planned business combination, the merged company is expected to be renamed XTEND AI Robotics and listed on a U.S. national securities exchange under the ticker symbol "XTND." A Form S-4 registration statement was filed with the SEC in April 2026.
