LiqTech International, Inc. (Nasdaq: LIQT) announced it has received a commercial order for four marine water treatment systems for vessels using Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) engine technology in China, according to a press release issued June 23, 2026.
The first of the four systems is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2026. The order was placed for commercial vessels operating in China and expands LiqTech's presence beyond its previously announced orders for vessels using integrated Cylinder pressure monitoring and Exhaust gas Recirculation (iCER) engine technology.
LiqTech's China joint venture has secured multiple commercial orders and completed deliveries over the past six months for iCER-equipped vessels. The company said the new EGR order marks the first commercial award for that engine platform.
"With commercial orders now secured for both iCER- and EGR-based vessel applications, we believe our technology is increasingly being recognized as a preferred water treatment solution for next-generation marine vessels," said Fei Chen, CEO and President of LiqTech.
The systems are based on LiqTech's silicon carbide membrane filtration technology. The company reported it has completed more than 170 marine scrubber installations worldwide.
