Comtech launches Allerium Coral for NG9-1-1 coordination

June 23, 2026 9:01 AM EDT

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced Allerium Coral, a network-native capability designed to coordinate and exchange critical incident information across Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) emergency communications environments.

According to the company, critical information in current NG9-1-1 systems often remains fragmented across disconnected systems and closed platforms, limiting coordination across agencies and jurisdictions. Allerium Coral is designed to enable real-time, standards-based exchange of incident information through the Emergency Services IP Network (ESInet).

"Public safety has made significant progress in modernizing infrastructure, but as NG9-1-1 has evolved, critical data has increasingly been delivered outside the network through over-the-top solutions – introducing complexity, security risks, and making coordination across systems far more difficult," said Jeff Robertson, President of Allerium.

Adam Wasserman, Assistant Director for Emergency Communications at the Washington State Emergency Management Division, commented on the concept, saying call takers are currently required to search for incident information across multiple systems and that delivering data directly through the network "is exactly where the industry needs to go."

Allerium Coral is designed to work alongside Allerium Mira, the company's existing cloud-native platform for managing emergency communications. Mira is described as the operational environment where information coordinated through Coral can be received and acted upon.

The capability will be introduced through a phased deployment, with initial releases focused on cross-agency coordination. Subsequent phases are planned to expand data integration to include first responders, healthcare providers, and other participants outside the core workflow.

Comtech said Allerium Coral will be presented at the NENA 2026 Conference & Expo in Columbus, Ohio, on June 29-30. The information is based on a press release statement from Comtech.
