CoreWeave signs sponsorship deal with BattleBots as AI cloud partner

CoreWeave, Inc. (Nasdaq: CRWV) announced a sponsorship agreement with BattleBots, making it the Official AI Cloud Partner of BattleBots and the inaugural BattleBots Pro League, according to a press release from the company.

As a Platinum Sponsor, CoreWeave will provide BattleBots teams with access to its AI cloud platform as they develop and train robots for the 2027 Pro League season. CoreWeave branding will appear throughout the BattleBots Arena in Las Vegas during the 2026 Pro League season, including a CoreWeave Clock displayed during matches.

The company will also sponsor an Innovation Award recognizing technically ambitious teams, with a fan voting component across BattleBots social platforms preceding the formal announcement of a winner.

Jean English, chief marketing officer at CoreWeave, said in the statement: "BattleBots is a sport built by engineers who push hardware to its limits, iterate fast, and compete at the frontier of what's technically possible, which is exactly the kind of ambition CoreWeave was built to support."

Edward Roski, CEO of BattleBots, said: "CoreWeave is exactly the kind of partner we wanted for the Pro League — a company that understands what it means to build at the frontier and compete where the stakes are real."

The 2026 BattleBots Pro League is set to premiere on YouTube on July 2, 2026. BattleBots holds a permanent Las Vegas residency and claims more than 74 million total views across its digital platforms, with fans in more than 150 countries.
