Infosys (NYSE: INFY) announced an expanded multi-year collaboration with GlobalFoundries (NASDAQ: GFS) to provide AI-led managed services across the semiconductor manufacturer's enterprise IT operations, according to a press release dated June 23, 2026.
Under the agreement, Infosys will manage GlobalFoundries' end-to-end application, infrastructure, data, and service desk operations. The engagement is structured to transition GlobalFoundries from externally supported IT operations to a managed services model using AI and automation.
GlobalFoundries said it selected Infosys based on its existing role as an incumbent technology provider and its semiconductor domain expertise.
Vishal Mehra, Chief Information Officer at GlobalFoundries, said, "The renewed collaboration marks a significant step forward in GF's journey to modernize IT operations and achieve higher levels of efficiency, resilience and user experience."
Anand Swaminathan, EVP and Global Industry Leader for Communications, Media and Technology at Infosys, said the engagement would help GlobalFoundries "transition from reactive IT management to predictive and autonomous service delivery."
