Faraday Future reveals robot lineup and new products at Automate

Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) unveiled the second half of its six-series robot product lineup at the Automate trade show in Chicago, introducing the All-New Futurist humanoid robot and the Faber mobile manipulator series, according to a company press release.

The All-New Futurist is priced at $89,900, including a $10,000 Skills package. The robot stands approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 121 pounds, and features 31 degrees of freedom. The company claims it is the first full-size humanoid robot in the U.S. to natively support Nvidia Sonic's full-body motion control system. A 1,152-watt-hour dual-battery system enables approximately six hours of continuous operation. An Ultra version, powered by Nvidia's Jetson Thor compute platform, is scheduled for release later this year at a price to be announced.

The Faber series is described by the company as the first industrial-grade mobile manipulator series in the U.S. available for commercial sale and delivery. The series includes three models: Faber U, equipped with Thor AI compute and multi-sensor fusion; Faber T, targeted at power inspection and data center deployments; and Faber S, which will debut at ISTE Live 26 on June 30. Each arm can lift up to 11 pounds, with an operating range reaching approximately 6.6 feet high.

The company said June robot shipments are expected to exceed 100 units, with total first-half shipments expected to surpass its original target of 220 units.

Faraday Future also outlined plans for an industrial ecosystem, targeting factory production support, warehouse logistics, facility inspection, and equipment maintenance. A formal industrial ecosystem launch event is planned for approximately six months from now.

AIxC, a separate entity, announced an EAI ecosystem and Web3 strategy centered on a robot-sharing network, describing the model as comparable to ride- and vehicle-sharing platforms.
