Navan adds ITA Airways, Caledonian Sleeper, and Virtuo to platform

Navan (NASDAQ: NAVN), a business travel and expense platform, announced new integrations with three European travel suppliers, according to a company press release.

Navan will add a direct New Distribution Capability (NDC) connection with ITA Airways, Italy's national air carrier, via Lufthansa Group's NDC API using version 24.1. The connection will provide access to ITA fare classes, including Light and Business cabin content, that the company says are not available on legacy booking platforms.

The platform will also integrate Caledonian Sleeper, the UK's only overnight rail service, allowing users to book sleeper cabins on routes running between London and Scottish cities including Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Inverness. The journey runs approximately eight hours.

"Through this new integration, the productivity, employee wellbeing, and low carbon benefits of choosing Caledonian Sleeper for corporate travel are now all just a click away," said Steven Marshall, Head of Sales & Marketing for Caledonian Sleeper.

A third integration with Virtuo, a mobile-only car rental service operating in France and the UK, will allow Navan users to book vehicles and access rentals remotely through the Virtuo app, using digital identity verification and AI-powered damage reporting.

"Our 100% digital, mobile-only approach was built to bypass the traditional rental counter entirely," said Marie Muller, Virtuo's CEO. "Partnering with Navan allows us to bring that seamless experience to enterprise travelers."

The new partnerships follow earlier European inventory additions, including Swedish Rail, SAS NDC, and Deutsche Bahn's bahn.business program.
