Arq names Peter Owino as interim chief accounting officer

Arq, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARQ) appointed Peter Owino, 51, as interim chief accounting officer, effective June 12, 2026, according to a company statement. The Board of Directors made the appointment on June 14, 2026. Owino will serve as the company's principal accounting officer until a permanent successor is named.
Owino brings more than 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance across both private and public companies. He currently works as an accounting and finance consultant for Princeton Business Consulting, LLC, a firm focused on small to mid-sized businesses.
His prior roles include Corporate Controller at Colliers Engineering & Design from 2024 to 2026, and Chief Accounting Officer at Merchant e-Solutions, a global payment processor, from 2020 to 2022. From 2015 to 2020, he served as a Director at KPMG New York, providing accounting advisory services. He also held senior roles at Finjan Holdings, Inc. and worked as a manager at both Deloitte & Touche and Ernst & Young.
Owino holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya.
