FreeCast, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAST), an Orlando-based streaming media and platform-as-a-service company, has entered into a reseller agreement to offer Starlink Business satellite broadband connectivity, according to a press release.
The agreement allows FreeCast to bundle Starlink Business services with its existing portfolio of streaming media, advertising, and digital engagement tools. The company said it plans to target markets including multifamily housing, hotels, healthcare systems, senior living communities, campgrounds, and rural or underserved areas.
"Connectivity and content have historically been delivered separately," said William Mobley, chief executive officer of FreeCast. "This relationship allows FreeCast to combine enterprise broadband access with streaming television, local content, advertising, community engagement, and digital commerce solutions, creating a more comprehensive offering for organizations serving large groups of consumers."
Under the arrangement, FreeCast says customers could access a range of combined services, including white-label streaming television platforms, local content aggregation, subscription management tools, advertising platforms, and hospitality entertainment systems alongside the satellite broadband connection.
FreeCast said the combined offering may support multiple revenue streams for participating organizations, including broadband service fees, streaming subscription revenues, advertising, and platform licensing.
