Optex Systems CFO to resign at year-end, search for replacement underway

Optex Systems Holdings (NASDAQ: OPXS) announced that Chief Financial Officer and Secretary Karen Hawkins has notified the company of her intention to resign, effective December 31, 2026, upon the expiration of her current employment agreement.

The company stated it has begun a search for a suitable replacement. Following her departure, Hawkins may be engaged on an interim consulting basis to assist with the transition.

According to the announcement, Hawkins is resigning for personal reasons, and there were no disagreements between her and the company. The company also stated her departure is unrelated to its operations, policies, practices, or any accounting matters.
