CrowdStrike expands Project QuiltWorks to include AWS

CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) announced at the AWS Summit New York that it is expanding Project QuiltWorks to include Amazon Web Services (AWS), adding cloud workload infrastructure to the existing coalition focused on AI-related cybersecurity vulnerabilities.

Project QuiltWorks previously combined CrowdStrike's vulnerability discovery and prioritization tools with remediation services from systems integrators and financial protection from the cyber insurance industry. The addition of AWS extends the coalition to cover cloud workload infrastructure, according to a press release from the company.

CrowdStrike states it has over 110 native AWS integrations, which it says will give organizations running workloads on AWS continuous visibility into vulnerabilities across their enterprise environments.

The coalition uses frontier AI models from OpenAI and Anthropic to power vulnerability discovery and prioritization.

"QuiltWorks was built to give every organization a complete answer to frontier AI risk," said Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike. "With the addition of AWS, we've closed the loop: the technology to find and prioritize it, the services to fix it, the financial protection to mitigate it, and now the infrastructure where these workloads run."

Mona Chadha, Director of AI and Strategic Partnerships at AWS, said the expansion aims to help customers gain visibility into risk across cloud infrastructure. "As AI accelerates the pace of vulnerability discovery, organizations need new ways to understand and address emerging risk," she said.

Organizations running workloads on AWS can request a Project QuiltWorks assessment, described as an expert review of their current security program and remediation capacity.
