Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE: BR) and Fispoke Inc. have announced a collaboration to bring lending and private banking capabilities to independent wealth management firms, including registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, and wealth platforms.
The arrangement combines Broadridge's securities-based lending infrastructure with Fispoke's advisor-facing digital platform. Clients will access the services through Fispoke's white-labeled platform, powered by Broadridge's lending infrastructure, without requiring a change in custodian.
The collaboration aims to give independent advisory firms access to lending and liquidity tools that have traditionally been available primarily at wirehouses and private banks. The integrated offering is designed to connect investments, cash, and credit within a single client experience and fit into existing advisor workflows.
"Independent advisors are increasingly expected to deliver advice across the full client balance sheet — not just investments, but also liquidity and borrowing needs," said Mike Musial, Head of Credit and Lending at Broadridge. "We're pleased to collaborate with Fispoke to unlock private banking capabilities for firms that have not historically had the same level of access as larger institutions."
Robert Clare, CEO of Fispoke, said the partnership is intended to help independent firms offer private banking capabilities without requiring a banking affiliation or building infrastructure in-house.
According to the press release, the two companies also plan to explore further development in areas including artificial intelligence and tokenization as part of the collaboration.
