JetBlue adds Mint service from Fort Lauderdale to San Diego

JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ: JBLU) announced it will launch daily Mint premium service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and San Diego International Airport (SAN) beginning Nov. 19, 2026, according to a company statement.

The airline also said it will add more Mint flights between Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) starting this winter, bringing the total to up to eight daily flights to Los Angeles and up to three daily flights to San Francisco.

The Fort Lauderdale-San Diego route will operate once daily in each direction. Flight 529 departs Fort Lauderdale at 7:00 a.m. and arrives in San Diego at 9:39 a.m., while Flight 532 departs San Diego at 11:00 a.m. and arrives in Fort Lauderdale at 6:55 p.m.

JetBlue said it claims to be the only carrier offering a business class option between Fort Lauderdale and San Diego. The airline's Mint product includes fully lie-flat seats and curated dining.

The company said it has increased daily departures from Fort Lauderdale by more than 75% this year and expects to reach approximately 150 daily flights from the airport by winter 2026, which it describes as its largest schedule from that airport.

"Customers in Fort Lauderdale continue to choose JetBlue for a better coast-to-coast experience, and these additions give them even more of what they value most: more flights, more premium options and the comfort of Mint on key West Coast routes," said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of revenue, network and enterprise planning at JetBlue.

TrueBlue loyalty members who book the new Fort Lauderdale-San Diego route by June 21, 2026 may be eligible to receive 2,500 bonus points, subject to terms and conditions.
