Jim H. Snabe notified C3.ai, Inc. (NYSE: AI) on June 11, 2026, that he would take a leave of absence from the company's Board of Directors and from his role as special advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

The leave follows Snabe's appointment as Special Envoy to the European Commission for Industrial Artificial Intelligence. During the leave, Snabe will not vote as a board member or perform duties as a director or special advisor to the CEO.

Snabe will not stand for re-election at the company's 2026 annual stockholder meeting. The duration of his leave has not been determined, though he is expected to return to his board and advisory roles upon its conclusion, according to the company's statement.

Following Snabe's departure on leave, the board reduced the number of directors from twelve to eleven, effective the day after his leave began.
