ADOBE and LinkedIn launch free AI training program for marketers

June 16, 2026 9:00 AM EDT

ADOBE (NASDAQ: ADBE) and LinkedIn have announced a joint initiative called AI Essentials for Marketers, offering free AI skills training courses aimed at marketing professionals across all career levels.

The program includes four role-based courses available in 47 languages, covering digital marketing, content and creative, social and communications, and data and analytics. Courses will be hosted on LinkedIn Learning and Adobe Experience League, with content added on an ongoing basis.

According to LinkedIn Economic Graph data, the share of marketing job postings requiring AI literacy skills has more than doubled year-over-year, rising 113%. LinkedIn's Economic Graph spans 1.3 billion members, over 71 million companies, and 42,000 skills.

The courses were designed by BrandWorks, LinkedIn's in-house strategy and creative team, and are informed by LinkedIn Economic Graph labor market data. Participants who complete courses can display earned certificates directly on their LinkedIn profiles.

"Marketers everywhere are eager to embrace AI but need the right skills to do it with confidence," said Rachel Thornton, Chief Marketing Officer, Enterprise at Adobe.

"Together with Adobe, we're helping make AI skills accessible to every marketer — not just technical specialists — through scalable, practical learning designed for the realities of modern work," said Jessica Jensen, Chief Marketing Officer at LinkedIn.

The initiative builds on Adobe Digital Academy's existing commitment, which includes $100 million in donations, scholarships, product access, and partnership investments. LinkedIn Learning currently offers over 25,000 courses, with 2,300 focused on AI.
