Alcoa ratifies labor agreement with steelworkers at two US smelters

Alcoa Corporation (NYSE: AA) announced that United Steelworkers union members ratified a new labor agreement covering the company's US smelting operations. The agreement affects approximately 965 employees at Warrick Operations in Indiana and Massena Operations in New York.
The contract runs from May 16, 2026, through May 15, 2030. According to the company's statement, the agreement was ratified by a wide margin following a vote by union membership.
The Pittsburgh-based aluminum producer said it remains focused on maintaining safe and reliable operations while serving customers and communities. The information was disclosed in a company press release.
