Kyivstar Group Ltd. (NASDAQ: KYIV; KYIVW) announced that its subsidiary Uklon launched Uklon Store, an in-app marketplace that began operations in Kyiv with flower delivery services.
The marketplace operates as a beta launch within Uklon's existing ride-hailing application, connecting users with local florists for scheduled delivery. Uklon utilizes its driver network to handle deliveries through the new service.
Uklon Store represents the company's entry into e-commerce beyond its current services, which include ride-hailing, delivery, bus tickets, and micromobility options across 27 Ukrainian cities and Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
"The launch of Uklon Store is a pivotal milestone in our transition to a fully integrated digital ecosystem," said Serhii Hryshkov, CEO of Uklon. "We are leveraging our scale—audience, technology, and logistics—to expand into commerce, unlocking new revenue pools while deepening engagement."
The company plans to expand the marketplace beyond flowers into additional product categories. Uklon operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of JSC Kyivstar, which is owned by Kyivstar Group Ltd.
Kyivstar Group Ltd. is the parent company of JSC Kyivstar, described as Ukraine's leading digital operator and part of VEON Group (NASDAQ: VEON). The company provides mobile and fixed-line services, digital TV, and enterprise solutions including cloud and cybersecurity services.
The marketplace launch information was provided in a company press release.
