Neurovia AI showcases video compression technology at UAE cybersecurity summit
Neurovia AI, a subsidiary of Robo.ai Inc. (NASDAQ: AIIO), participated as an official partner in the 3rd Government Cybersecurity Summit in Abu Dhabi, demonstrating its NeuroStream visual data infrastructure platform.
During the event, Chief Technology Officer Mansoor Ali Khan delivered a keynote address on building visual intelligence infrastructure. The company showcased compression technology that reduced a 12.15GB, 4K 60fps video file to 421MB, representing a 96.37% reduction in storage space while maintaining what the company described as visually lossless quality.
The NeuroStream platform is designed to compress visual data while preserving characteristics needed for machine vision and AI processing. According to the company, this compression capability aims to reduce infrastructure costs related to computing, energy consumption, network bandwidth, and content delivery operations.
Government agencies and enterprise clients across the Gulf Cooperation Council region are currently evaluating the technology architecture, according to the press release. The company indicated the technology is being developed for deployment in safety and security, autonomous driving, smart cities, and intelligent manufacturing applications.
Khan stated that the NeuroStream architecture establishes security measures at the data source level, designed to keep sensitive data within enterprise firewalls for localized management and control.
The summit brought together UAE government officials, regulators, cybersecurity experts, and technology companies to discuss digital security strategies. Neurovia AI positioned itself as a foundational technology layer within Robo.ai's broader business strategy.
Robo.ai Inc. develops artificial intelligence platform technology, integrating AI software, hardware, and smart assets for government and enterprise clients. The company trades on the NASDAQ under ticker AIIO.
