Corvex names former IBM executive to board ahead of annual meeting

Corvex Inc. (NASDAQ: MOVE) announced that Nicholas M. Donofrio will join its board of directors upon election at the company's upcoming annual meeting, according to a company statement.

Donofrio spent 44 years at IBM, where he served as Executive Vice President of Innovation and Technology and achieved IBM Fellow Emeritus status. He led technology strategy and development organizations across semiconductors, microprocessors, storage, and servers during his tenure.

The appointment comes as Corvex, which operates GPU-accelerated infrastructure for AI workloads, prepares to launch its Token Factory inference platform and scales its AI Factory operations. The company serves AI model labs, enterprises, and federal customers.

Donofrio's board experience includes serving as a director at Advanced Micro Devices from 2009 to 2018, where he created and chaired the Innovation and Technology Committee. He also served as a director at Delphi Automotive and successor Aptiv from 2009 to 2022, and held board positions at The MITRE Corporation and The Bank of New York Mellon.

He holds seven technology patents and was elected to the U.S. National Academy of Engineering for contributions to semiconductor memory and technical leadership in computing. Donofrio is a Life Fellow of the IEEE and Fellow of the U.K. Royal Academy of Engineering.

"Technology only matters when it is applied to a real problem," Donofrio stated. "The hard part of AI isn't any one layer — it's making the whole stack work together: delivering the compute, turning it into inference economically, and keeping it secure and trusted at every step."

Corvex integrates proprietary software, including confidential computing and workload optimization tools, to enhance security and performance across its infrastructure platform.
