AbbVie to present blood cancer data at EHA 2026

AbbVie (NYSE: ABBV) announced it will present clinical data from its blood cancer portfolio at the European Hematology Association 2026 Congress. The company will share results from 21 oral and poster presentations covering multiple blood cancers including multiple myeloma, follicular lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, acute myeloid leukemia and amyloidosis.

Featured data include results from studies of investigational compound etentamig and approved therapies EPKINLY (epcoritamab-bysp), VENCLEXTA (venetoclax) and DECNUPAZ (pivekimab sunirine-pvzy).

Key presentations include a subgroup analysis from the Phase 3 EPCORE FL-1 trial examining epcoritamab with lenalidomide and rituximab in relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma. The analysis showed overall response rates were numerically higher with the combination therapy compared to rituximab plus lenalidomide alone across different risk groups.

Results from the EPCORE DLBCL-1 Phase 3 trial will show epcoritamab monotherapy demonstrated statistically significant improvement in progression-free survival versus investigator's choice of chemoimmunotherapy in relapsed/refractory large B-cell lymphoma patients. The study showed a hazard ratio of 0.74 with 24-month progression-free survival of 30% versus 13%. However, the study did not demonstrate statistically significant improvement in overall survival.

Additional presentations will cover venetoclax-based therapies in chronic lymphocytic leukemia, etentamig in multiple myeloma patients with prior BCMA-targeted therapy exposure, and pivekimab sunirine-pvzy in blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm.

The European Hematology Association 2026 Congress presentations are scheduled for June 11-14 in Stockholm, Sweden.
