Investing.com -- Whitehawk Minerals Corp.'s initial public offering is expected to price at the midpoint of its marketed range next week, Bloomberg reported Friday, after the company pushed back its listing timeline.
The pricing was postponed from this week to address comments from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, according to the report. The exact timing of the pricing remains to be determined.
The offering has drawn demand for several times the number of available shares from long-only and energy-dedicated investors, the report said. The offering will be increased in size.
Whitehawk Minerals previously said it plans to sell approximately 6.9 million shares at $25 to $27 per share, raising up to $187 million.
The shares are set to trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol WHK.
Raymond James Financial Inc, Stifel Financial Corp, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. are among the banks working on the offering.
