Microsoft board member Reid Hoffman to step down at 2026 meeting

Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) announced that board member Reid Hoffman will not seek re-election at the company's 2026 annual shareholder meeting. Hoffman informed the company of his decision on June 2, 2026.
Hoffman has served on Microsoft's board of directors since 2017 and will continue in his role until the annual meeting takes place. The company stated that Hoffman's decision was not due to any disagreement with management regarding the company's operations, policies, or practices.
Microsoft expressed gratitude for Hoffman's contributions during his tenure as a director. The company has not yet announced plans for replacing Hoffman on the board.
