LG Group said to adopt 10,000 Nvidia GPUs for AI development

Investing.com -- South Korea's LG Group will adopt 10,000 graphics processing units from Nvidia Corp, according to a report from South Korea's Maeil Business Newspaper on Thursday. The newspaper cited an unnamed industry source for the information.

The GPUs will be used to train artificial intelligence systems at LG's AI research center, Maeil said. The units will also support development of a humanoid robot being created by LG Electronics Inc, according to the report.
