Restaurant Brands International elects 10 directors at annual meeting

Restaurant Brands International Inc. (NYSE: QSR) announced the election of 10 directors at its annual shareholder meeting held June 3, 2026, according to a company statement.
The meeting had 403,178,212 eligible votes represented in person or by proxy, representing 88.29% of all eligible votes. All 10 nominees proposed by the board were elected to serve until the next annual meeting or until successors are elected or appointed.
Marcia Smith received the highest support among nominees with 99.90% of votes in favor, totaling 397,229,186 votes. Smith was the only non-incumbent director among the nominees. Alexandre Behring received the lowest support at 97.21% with 386,544,846 votes in favor.
Other elected directors include Maximilien de Limburg Stirum (99.83%), J. Patrick Doyle (98.97%), Cristina Farjallat (99.80%), Ali Hedayat (98.95%), Marc Lemann (98.51%), Jason Melbourne (99.80%), Daniel S. Schwartz (99.70%), and Thecla Sweeney (99.31%).
The company stated that final voting results on all matters from the annual meeting will be filed with Canadian and U.S. securities regulators.
Restaurant Brands International operates Tim Hortons, Burger King, Popeyes, and Firehouse Subs restaurant brands, with approximately $48 billion in annual system-wide sales and roughly 33,000 restaurants across more than 120 countries and territories.
