CLPS restructures R&D operations with AI-powered development model
CLPS Incorporation (NASDAQ: CLPS) announced a restructuring of its research and development operations through the introduction of what it calls the AI Rainstorm Factory development model, according to a company press release.
The Hong Kong-based technology services company has deployed AI infrastructure across its Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Singapore offices, establishing computing capacity of up to 15,000 teraflops. The company has built an internal AI service platform based on open-source models.
The AI Rainstorm Factory segments the software development lifecycle into six specialized workshops: UI Design, Project Management, Business Requirements, Technical Architecture, Agile R&D, and Automated Testing. Each workshop uses AI technology for specific development tasks, from generating interface designs to creating test cases.
CLPS aims to reduce project development and delivery cycles by up to 50% compared to traditional workflows. The company plans to continue expanding its AI server infrastructure and developing proprietary AI models.
The company is developing an AI for IT Operations resource management system to monitor and allocate computing resources. This system will generate analytics to inform future hardware decisions and train enterprise-grade language models.
"We encourage every employee to evolve from an executor into an AI commander, driving innovation from a strategic level," said Andre Wang, Head of CLPS China Development Center.
CEO Raymond Lin stated that the company targets "a comprehensive acceleration of our development workflows by over 50%" while maintaining project quality standards and reducing operational costs.
CLPS, established in 2005, provides digital transformation services across fintech, e-commerce, education, and tourism sectors. The company operates in 10 countries with regional hubs in Shanghai, Singapore, and California.
