Crinetics Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: CRNX) announced the launch of Everyday Advocacy, an initiative to support patient education and self-advocacy within endocrine disease communities.
The program provides digital resources, educational workshops, and tools designed to help patients navigate healthcare interactions. A steering committee comprising five patient advocacy organizations will guide the initiative, including Acromegaly Community, CARES Foundation, Cushing's Support & Research Foundation, Neuroendocrine Cancer Foundation, and Pituitary World News.
Key components include digital tools such as the Acromegaly Symptom Diary mobile app for tracking symptoms, online and in-person workshops for peer connection and healthcare navigation, and ongoing partnerships with patient advocacy organizations.
The platform initially focuses on acromegaly, with plans to expand to additional endocrine and endocrine-related disease areas beginning in 2027. Four live workshops for people with acromegaly are scheduled for this year, with additional workshops planned for other conditions starting in 2027.
"Everyday Advocacy meets patients where they are, with practical tools, meaningful community support, and resources designed to help patients navigate the challenges they face every day," said Jill Sisco, President of Acromegaly Community.
Dina Matos, Executive Director of CARES Foundation, stated the initiative "puts patients first by providing practical resources and support for the everyday realities of managing care."
The San Diego-based pharmaceutical company focuses on endocrine diseases and endocrine-related tumors. Its first commercial product, PALSONIFY (paltusotine), is an oral treatment approved by the FDA and EMA for adults with acromegaly.
