SuperCom (NASDAQ: SPCB) announced it won a $1.8 million electronic monitoring contract with Norway's Prison and Probation Service, completing the company's expansion across all five Nordic countries.
The three-year contract includes deployment of SuperCom's PureSecurity Electronic Monitoring Suite for GPS tracking, RF-based monitoring, and facility supervision programs. The project will include approximately 1,000 monitoring units with options for growth and contract extensions.
SuperCom received the highest technology and total scores in a competitive bidding process that included pre-qualification, product evaluations, and multiple offer phases. The contract award follows a customary standstill period before final approval and project launch.
The Norway contract adds to SuperCom's existing electronic monitoring deployments in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland. Company CEO Ordan Trabelsi stated the win validates the company's technology capabilities at the national government level.
SuperCom reported trailing-twelve-month EBITDA of $10.3 million, which the company attributes partly to operational efficiencies from its European regional presence. The company has secured more than 20 national contracts across Europe in recent years and over 40 new U.S. contracts since mid-2024.
The company provides electronic monitoring, identification, and security solutions to government agencies and organizations globally through its proprietary technology platforms.
