May 29, 2026 7:00 AM EDT

Talisker Resources Ltd. (TSX: TSK, OTCQB: TSKFF) announced two new director nominees will stand for election at its upcoming annual and special meeting of shareholders. Duncan Middlemiss and Danièle Spethmann will join the board, with Middlemiss expected to become chairman following his election.

The Toronto-based gold mining company filed its notice of meeting and management information circular with securities regulators on May 29, 2026. The meeting materials were mailed to shareholders on May 27, 2026.

Morris Prychidny, the current chairman, will continue serving as a director after Middlemiss assumes the chairman role. Terry Harbort, president and CEO, stated the board additions come as the company transitions from explorer to producer and plans to become a multi-asset gold producer.

Middlemiss previously served as president and CEO of Wesdome Gold Mines Ltd. from 2016 to 2023. Before that, he held the same positions at St. Andrew Goldfields Ltd. until its acquisition by Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. in January 2016. He holds a mining engineering degree from Queen's University and worked at Inco Limited, Barrick Gold Inc., and Foxpoint Resources in various engineering and management roles.

Spethmann is a professional geologist with over 30 years of experience in mineral exploration and corporate development. She co-founded Champagne Resources/Warrior Gold Inc. and helped advance its flagship property in Ontario's Kirkland Lake Gold Camp. She currently serves as secretary and director of the Ontario Prospectors Association.

Talisker operates the Bralorne Gold Project in British Columbia, where it produces gold at the Mustang Mine. The company also holds the Ladner Gold Project and the Spences Bridge Project, along with several early-stage exploration properties.
