TXNM Energy (NYSE: TXNM) and its subsidiaries PNM and TNMP have expanded their partnership with ISN to enhance worker safety training programs, according to a company statement.
The Albuquerque-based energy holding company has broadened its use of ISN's Online Training tool with the launch of a Contractor Safety Orientation course. More than 800 contractor workers have completed the training within ISNetworld, the company's contractor management platform.
"ISN's training tools and services help make safety education more accessible, enabling contractors to apply energy-based and other safety principles in the field," said Chad Krukowski, Director of Safety at TXNM Energy.
The expanded partnership includes access to Safety Function trainings through ISNetworld's Learning Management System. The platform provides contractors with access to more than 700 training modules, including Energy-Based Safety courses focused on high-energy hazard recognition and risk control.
TXNM Energy delivers electricity to more than 800,000 homes and businesses across Texas and New Mexico through its regulated utilities TNMP and PNM. The company has been working to strengthen safety initiatives for contractor workers who handle high-energy electrical systems.
ISN operates as a contractor and supplier information management service, connecting hiring clients with contractors across capital-intensive industries. The company maintains offices in 12 locations globally and serves customers in more than 85 countries.
The training expansion aims to improve contractor awareness of high-energy hazards in electrical utility operations, where workers face risks from electrical systems and equipment.
