Sabre names Scott Hortenstine as controller and principal accounting officer

Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR) announced Scott Hortenstine will become vice president and controller, serving as the company's principal accounting officer effective July 1, 2026.
Hortenstine currently serves as vice president of global accounting at the travel technology company. He will replace Jami Kindle, senior vice president and chief accounting officer, who will continue in her role through June 30, 2026.
Hortenstine joined Sabre in 2015 and has held his current position since 2023. He previously held various positions of increasing responsibility within the company. He is a certified public accountant and holds a master's degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
The company stated Hortenstine will receive standard compensation and benefits for vice president-level employees, including base salary, annual incentive eligibility under Sabre's Variable Compensation Plan, and participation in the long-term incentive program.
Sabre indicated the appointment was not made pursuant to any arrangement or understanding with other parties. The company also disclosed no familial relationships or related party transactions requiring disclosure under securities regulations.
