Vuzix displays defense waveguide tech at SOF Week 2026

Vuzix Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI) is exhibiting its waveguide solutions for defense applications at SOF Week 2026, taking place May 18-21 in Tampa, Florida.

The Rochester, New York-based company is showcasing optical systems designed for military operations in challenging environments. The waveguide systems provide hands-free access to information while maintaining minimal forward light visibility for covert nighttime operations and clear daylight visibility.

Among the products on display is Vuzix's CIV-40-2 waveguide, which features a 40-degree field of view, HD resolution, and design compatibility for vertical-mount head-mounted displays.

Vuzix is positioned in booth 5823 in the Human Performance and Education zone at the Westin Hotel during the special operations technology conference.

The company designs and manufactures smart glasses, waveguides and augmented reality technologies for enterprise, medical, defense, security and consumer markets. Vuzix holds more than 500 patents and pending patents in optics and head-mounted display technologies.
