Intuitive Machines wins Space Force contract for satellite tracking

Intuitive Machines (NASDAQ: LUNR) announced its selection by the U.S. Space Force for the Andromeda IDIQ contract. The company will compete to design and field Space Domain Awareness capabilities to detect, track, and characterize objects in geosynchronous orbit.

The contract focuses on providing SDA mission solutions for the U.S. Space Force through 2030 and beyond. The award represents the company's first major selection following its acquisition of Lanteris Space.

Under the Andromeda contract, Intuitive Machines will develop next-generation space surveillance technology designed to monitor objects in geosynchronous orbit. The company stated it will leverage combined capabilities from both organizations to deliver high-performance systems using commercial-based processes.
