Standex International Corporation (NYSE: SXI) announced the promotion of Ademir Sarcevic to Executive Vice President-Corporate and Group President-Electronics, according to a company statement.
Sarcevic will oversee the company's Electronics segment while maintaining his role as Chief Financial Officer until Standex completes its search for a successor CFO. The Salem, New Hampshire-based manufacturer said Sarcevic will also handle certain corporate projects and initiatives in his expanded role.
Sarcevic joined Standex as CFO in 2019. During his tenure, he has worked on strengthening the company's finance organization, driving margin improvements, enhancing capital allocation discipline, and building the investor relations function, the company stated.
"Ademir is an exceptional leader," said David Dunbar, President and Chief Executive Officer. "Over the past seven years, he has been instrumental in solidifying our finance and investor relations functions and working across our businesses to position the Company for long‑term value creation."
Dunbar added that the leadership change reflects the company's focus on scale, operational maturity, and growth. He cited Sarcevic's understanding of the businesses, knowledge of personnel and culture, and leadership experience as qualifications for the expanded responsibilities.
Standex operates as a multi-industry manufacturer across four business segments: Electronics, Aerospace & Defense, Scientific, and Engraving & Hydraulics. The company has operations in the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Mexico, Turkey, India, and China.
