Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN) announced the renewal and expansion of its partnership with Lightspeed DMS, a dealer management systems provider for the recreational industry. The companies have maintained a partnership since 2009.
Under the expanded agreement, Lightspeed will launch an embedded payments offering using Global Payments' Payrix Pro technology. This will allow Lightspeed's dealership customers to manage payments directly within the Lightspeed platform.
"Global Payments' commitment to partnership and dedication to drive continuous improvement have been instrumental in helping us serve our customers," said Brian Provost, CEO at Lightspeed. "With this new embedded model, Global Payments has helped us grow at scale and deliver even greater value to our 4,500 plus customers."
The embedded payments solution aims to provide dealerships with greater visibility and control within their daily workflows. Lightspeed serves dealerships across the Powersports, Marine, RV, Trailer and Golf Car industries with a platform that manages sales, parts, service, rental, accounting and customer relationship management functions.
"Through our strong partnership and alignment with Lightspeed's executives, we are helping them execute a vision of providing their dealers with an improved experience for all things financial services," said Matt Downs, president of Global Payments' Integrated and Platforms business.
Global Payments completed its acquisition of Worldpay in January 2026. The company manages payments volume across more than 175 countries and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
Lightspeed has supported more than 4,500 dealers across North America for over 40 years, according to the company's statement.
