TELUS Digital, a subsidiary of TELUS Corporation (NYSE: TU), announced the expansion of its global delivery operations across multiple regions over the past nine months. The company has established new locations in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Argentina, while expanding existing operations in India.
In India, TELUS Digital expanded two sites in Bengaluru and Ahmedabad and added a new location in Kolkata, bringing its total presence in the country to eight sites across six cities. The company now operates in more than 35 countries and employs over 82,000 team members across five continents.
The expansion enables TELUS Digital to provide customer experience services in 60 languages and support more than 500 languages and dialects for AI data labeling and model training. The new Asia-Pacific locations will deliver trust and safety solutions including financial crime compliance, fraud prevention, and platform safety services.
"Asia-Pacific and Latin America represent some of the most dynamic technology ecosystems in the world, opening new opportunities and revenue streams for TELUS Digital and the clients we serve," said Tobias Dengel, President of TELUS Digital Solutions.
In Southeast Asia, the company will provide services in Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, and Malay languages, adding to its existing capabilities in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. The new operations will support gaming clients with in-game moderation, technical support, and AI data labeling services.
The Argentina location will focus on digital engineering and enterprise AI solutions, including data strategy, analytics services, and AI automation. Argentina's workforce offers up to 90 percent overlap with U.S. business hours and strong alignment with European markets.
According to the press release, the expansion reflects growing enterprise demand for AI-powered customer experience services and multilingual support capabilities as companies deploy AI systems across global markets.
