First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: FR) announced that shareholders re-elected all six incumbent directors at the company's 2026 annual meeting, according to the final vote count from the independent inspector of elections.
The re-elected directors are Peter E. Baccile, Teresa Bryce Bazemore, Matthew S. Dominski, H. Patrick Hackett Jr., Denise A. Olsen and Marcus L. Smith. Each director received support from more than 93% of voted shares.
Frank E. Schmitz will join the board as an independent director on June 1, 2026, bringing the total number of directors to seven, with six being independent.
Shareholders also approved all other proposals at the annual meeting, with each receiving more than 95% support from voted shares, consistent with board and management recommendations. The company will file detailed results on Form 8-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
First Industrial owns and has under development approximately 71.6 million square feet of industrial space concentrated in 15 target metropolitan statistical areas as of March 31, 2026. The Chicago-based company operates as a real estate investment trust focused on logistics properties.
