CRH completes $300 million share buyback, plans additional $300 million

CRH (NYSE: CRH) completed a $300 million phase of its share buyback program, according to a company statement. The building materials provider has returned $10 billion to shareholders through buybacks since May 2018.
The company entered into an arrangement with HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. to conduct an additional buyback program worth up to $300 million. The program will repurchase ordinary shares listed on the New York Stock Exchange from April 30, 2026, through July 28, 2026.
The buyback will operate under safe harbor provisions of the U.S. Securities Exchange Act. CRH stated that future buyback decisions will depend on the company's capital requirements and market conditions.
CRH operates 4,000 locations with 83,000 employees and is a member of the S&P 500 Index.
