Wetour Robotics releases edge AI demonstrations for wearable tech platform
Wetour Robotics Limited (NASDAQ: WETO) announced the release of four development milestone demonstrations for its Orchestra Physical AI platform. The demonstrations showcase real-time processing capabilities that operate without cloud dependency.
The demonstrations span two modules of the Orchestra platform: VisionLink and Conductor. VisionLink uses a chest-mounted camera to capture hand gestures and recognize approaching persons, translating these inputs into commands for connected devices or haptic feedback. Conductor processes muscle signals from an sEMG wristband to track hand movements in real time, displaying the movements on a connected screen.
The company also presented spatial localization technology currently in development. This feature processes wearable sensor data to provide positional information within 3D environments as users move through spaces.
All processing occurs on what the company calls an "edge hub" without requiring cloud connectivity. The Orchestra platform is designed to coordinate multiple types of wearable devices and cameras as an integrated system.
"Before Orchestra, your wearables and the machines around you lived in separate worlds. Smart, but alone," said Nan Zheng, Chief Executive Officer of Wetour Robotics. "With VisionLink and Conductor now generating real-time signals on the same edge hub, we are building the unified perception layer the Physical AI era requires."
Wetour Robotics operates AI-driven travel and mobility services and is expanding into Physical AI infrastructure development. The Austin, Texas-based company does not manufacture wearable devices or end-devices but develops platform technology for device integration.
Demonstration videos are available on the company's website and social media channels, according to the press release statement.
