SS&C Technologies Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: SSNC) announced the launch of SS&C Blue Prism WorkHQ, an automation platform designed to help enterprises deploy AI agents across their operations.
The company unveiled WorkHQ at an event at Nasdaq in New York City. The platform serves as a control system that coordinates people, AI agents, APIs and digital workers within a single environment, according to a company statement.
SS&C developed WorkHQ based on its internal operations supporting more than 23,000 customers globally with 4,000+ digital workers and more than 50 AI agents. The company reported processing time reductions of up to 95% in key workflows through these automation efforts.
"WorkHQ was built for the enterprise problem, not the enterprise demo," said Rob Stone, General Manager of Intelligent Automation & Analytics at SS&C. "We designed WorkHQ for that reality from the ground up."
The platform includes centralized control capabilities, built-in governance and compliance features, and integration with existing automation systems. WorkHQ is designed to work with current Blue Prism platforms and allows organizations to add AI agents while maintaining existing automation infrastructure.
IDC research indicates organizations expect to approximately double their deployment of AI agents in production over the coming year. "To deliver measurable, lasting value from their AI investments at scale, organizations are focusing on unifying tools and practices relating to orchestration and governance," said Neil Ward-Dutton, Vice President of Agentic Automation & AI Technology research at IDC.
SS&C, founded in 1986 and headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut, provides software and services to financial services and healthcare organizations globally.
